Mission | Vision | Value

I am a Jamaican-born Canadian who have been working within the Ontario Public Service (OPS) for over 10 years. I graduated with an Honours Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in Criminology and Political Science, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Mona School of Business and Management, University of the West Indies. I love family-time, travelling, writing, and staying fit.

Mission

The purpose of Shauna Cassell’s Journey is to discuss experiences related to JUSTICE, TRAVEL, RELATIONSHIP, AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS. Since I work within the Ministry of the Attorney General, and have past experience in the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services I will focus on those experiences. You may need to visit the courts or the correctional facilities, or you may want to work in the Ontario Public Service (OPS). Readers can also learn about my travel and lifestyle experiences.

Vision

To provide a vibrant, articulate and informed blog that will give Canadian residents insight about the Justice System in order for them to feel at ease as they navigate the complex system.

Values

Openness | Inclusion | Quality | Participation

Shauna Cassell is a beacon of light focused on guiding society and improving our quality of life. Smart, persistent, and results-oriented, I am proud to call her my friend.
