The door has closed for us,
After all the experiences we’ve been through.
No more lunch dates, surprise visits, or daily conversations,
No more amazon boxes, Alexia messages, or your face on FaceTime.
No more breakfasts, and airport pickups.
No more crying in your arms, or telling you about my daily activities.
It seemed like I’ve always known you. You became a piece of my life.
Now, I have to say goodbye.
Goodbye to long conversations and philosophizing on life.
Goodbye to city excursions, and your ongoing support.
Goodbye to sweet kisses, and lengthy embraces.
To overnighters, and early mornings.
To strolls in the park, and the beach boardwalks.
Life has given us a love so deep, and it seemed we weren’t meant to be.
So, today, my sweet love, I’m giving you one last kiss.
A kiss, Goodbye.
To Vivion Scully, a man I loved with my whole heart.
